So eventually, when the ordinary people cry out "enough is enough!" the government can easily bring in new draconian laws against "criminals", unopposed. They wouldn't be able to take my freedom without a fight. The handgun ban didn't work, so these politicians think that more flawed laws and the destruction of freedom will fix the problem, and it's just wrong. I'm glad to live in America, but if we're not careful we can end up like them as well! That's why I'm in the NRA.

The gun laws in the United Kingdom have done nothing but deprive legitimate, innocent and legal citizens of not only their hobbies and interests, but of also one of their basic human rights - self defense. Something MUST be done in our country. Those who oppose the gun laws are often brainwashed by society's constant teaching of 'firearms being bad'. They are so mislead, we in Britain are NOT safe. Gun crime has increased since the ban, is that not proof enough?
